Using Valigara for non-integrated sales channels (Amazon Handmade, CataWiki etc)

Modified on Mon, 06 Jul 2020 at 06:56 PM

Some smaller but still popular marketplaces (Amazon Handmade, Catawiki, LiveAuctioneers) do not provide direct programmatic integration (API) with 3rd party management systems like Valigara.

Still, there are many things that can be done in Valley to make your work more efficient:

  • Use the data management tools like Copy data and Generators (titles generators, descriptions generators, formulas and procedures) to quickly generate the content in the required format.

  • Use Additional fields to store all the channel-related data. It’s a nice idea to create a Fields Set (f.i. CataWiki or ) to keep all the relevant data together.

  • Create export formats to quickly create the data sheets in the format required by the marketplace.

  • When supported, use Feeds to provide the marketplaces with the updated product data, in the matching format.

  • Some marketplaces (such as Amazon Handmade) provide a 1-way integration, which allows fetching the orders from the marketplace. In this case connect the channel to Valigara, to synchronize the orders with other channels.

  • Manual orders and clients creation, Clients and Orders import allow you to quickly sync all the client data from the marketplaces in your main CRM.
