Domain Authentication

Valigara uses SendGrid SMTP service to send emails to buyers.

With no actions taken, your recipients see that the email was sent via cl.valigara.com. 

The reply address is your regular address, so when your buyers reply, you will receive the replies in your regular inbox.  

Domain Authentication critically improves email deliverability. It signals email services that SendGrid has your permission to send emails on your behalf. In addition, your recipients know for sure that this email comes from you.

Email link branding allows all of the click-tracked links, and opens tracked images in your emails to be from your domain instead of from sendgrid.net. Implementing link labeling helps in email deliverability because you are no longer relying on click tracking going through a domain that you do not control.

To perform Domain Authentication and Email link branding

• Create new support ticket and send us the domain(s) you plan to use
• We will send you the list of updates to make on your DNS records
• Update us once changes were implemented
• We will verify the updates, and update you once the authentication is enabled
• Go to Global settings -> emails, and switch from "Valigara domain" to "My own domain"

To improve sending emails from peter@myjewelrydomain.com with Valigara 

• send us the domain name myjewelrydomain.com
• the required additions to your domain record are:

CNAME    url1781.myjewelrydomain.com    sendgrid.net    

CNAME    855274.myjewelrydomain.com    sendgrid.net    

CNAME    em3191.myjewelrydomain.com    u855274.wl025.sendgrid.net    

CNAME    s1._domainkey.myjewelrydomain.com    s1.domainkey.u855274.wl025.sendgrid.net

• once you have updated the domain DNS records, emails sent from Valigara as peter@myjewelrydomain.com have higher rating and delivered better to recipients' inbox.
