Under-performing listings on eBay negatively affect the store performance, including the well selling items. So, if your jewelry wasn't sold for a long period (f.i. 150 days), eBay's algorithm sees that something is not right with the offer, and penalizes the listing , and the store.
To avoid this, it is well to make sure that such listings are removed from the store. Indeed, this adds some work, but this is exactly where your store grows, Valigara provides the tools which can save the most of work. Here is the example of the process you might use to work with the under-performing eBay listings in Valigara.
- Enable the "Kill Unsold Items" option in the eBay account
- start with more moderate settings, (f.i. 150 days) and slowly adjust it to your store performance. Getting your store to 90 days refresh time is a great success!
- As inactive listings start to drop from eBay, use eBay Activity logto see which listings dropped
- Use the "Show Products" or "Show Lisitngs" to analyze the performance and improve the offer/product data
- You can quickly relist the listings directly from the page , but making this without making any change makes less sense
- On the product level, use the Product Changelog to identify the improvement opportunities
- After making changes and improvements, use Mass Post / Mass Revise to return listings back to eBay
