In some cases, the gemstone that will be used in the order is selected only after the order happens. In this case, the item is "combined" per order. This happens often with the diamond jewelry, or when the parcel is used to select the gemstone.
To use this flow:
- Disable the stock movement automation in the Inventory settings (Valigara won't automatically apply the materials used during the post, once new order arrives
- When the order arrives, the new orders will appear blinking with yellow, meaning no stock action was approved
In the Orders page
- In the Tools menu for the order, select Actions
- Click the Edit button in the Item Details column
- Select the right gemstone (same also about Metals)
- Click Approve to apply the selection
After the action is approved, Valigara updates the inventory of the product and the selected gemstone
