After granting Valigara access to  Amazon, set up the Basics settings:

  1. go to Channels -> Amazon Settings
  2. click Editnext to the relevant account

Account Settings

This section contains general Amazon account settings

  • Account name - the internal name of the account added when connecting Amazon. Use a name that helps you identify it easily if you have multiple accounts
  • Description - describe briefly the specifics of the account
  • Is default account? - if checked, that Amazon account will be used by default on the Post operations
  • Authorization method - method used for authorizing access to Amazon

Tools

This section defines how product listings and orders are handled:

  • Deactivate listings in place of delete - defines what happens when deleting a product on Amazon through Valigara.
    • Checked - the listings is set as Inactive on Amazon. Allows restoring listings if deleted by accident.
    • Unchecked - listings is permanently deleted. Avoids having lots of Inactive listings in the Amazon Seller Central
  • Get orders from additional marketplaces - for listings posted in unified Amazon accounts, the orders might happen on different Amazon sites or external sales channels. Select local Amazon sites (like Mexico, Canada) to import orders from.
  • Do not fulfill FBA orders - override the "Fulfill Automatically" setting in Stock Settings, for orders from Amazon account, in case FBA is used as fulfillment center.
    • Attention: if unchecked, the FBA orders might be fulfilled twice (once before appearing in Valigara, and second if the "Fulfill Automatically" option in Valigara is enabled)!
  • Switch to FBM once FBA is sold out -  enables converting sold out FBA listings to FBM (Fulfilled By Merchant) listing.
    • Define the quantity to revise with. If the qty is left empty, all available product quantity is taken to Amazon
    • Consider the real product qty - when checked, the Switch will run only when the actual product qty is above the defined qty value
  • Switch FBM to FBA once FBA qty >0 - enables converting FBM listings to FBA listing even if the listing was initially published as FBM (Fulfilled By Merchant) listing on Amazon

After setting up the Basics, add more optimization and automation for Amazon:
