The Amazon Mapping creates the required and recommended relation between the product fields in Valigara and the Amazon listing attributes, for each category. On the Amazon post, Valigara automatically fills the Amazon attributes according to mappings, for each listing individually. Mapping can be based on an existing product value or on a fixed value, defined in Mappings.
Mappings save entering the values manually, and allow posting multiple products in different categories together, each one having different values. Each Amazon category can have it's own mapping, relevant to the specific type of the products.
Set Mappings
Each Amazon category has specific required and recommended fields. The right side, next to the Amazon fields displays hints, for example: "Required", "Only for products with gemstones" and "Only for products with pearls".
- Go to Amazon Settings page -> enter account settings -> Mappings tab
Select the main category and the sub-category to see the list of Amazon fields
- Mapping options:
- Automatic - the predefined mapping, created by Valigara eCommerce team
- System field - select an existing Valigara field that contains the relevant information
- Skip this - don't send any value
- Free - define specific text for the Amazon field
- Amazon values - select a fixed value from the Amazon list
- Click Save at the bottom of the page

Main Amazon jewelry categories are set with default mappings. To add mappings for the rarely used Amazon categories:
