Create Loose class product

Loose class products match products which include unset gemstones only. There are several ways to create Loose products in Valigara:

• Create single Loose product - Gemstone Edit page
• Create single Loose product - Catalog page
• Create multiple Loose products- Gemstones page 
• Create multiple Loose products - Gemstones import

Create Single Loose Product - from the Gemstone 

1. Go to Inventory > Gemstones page and open the existing gemstone
2. Under the Basic tab in the Main set check Product -> "Create new product?"
   
3. Select the matching Loose class products model, from the drop-down.
4. Check the "Take default values from model" option if relevant (all default values defined in the model will be taken to the resulting product)
5. The newly created Loose gemstone product is automatically opened in Edit mode

Create Single Loose Product - Catalog page

1. Go to Catalog page 
2. Click "+" -> "Add Loose gemstone Product"
   
   
3. Select the gemstone to built the Loose product for
4. Select the matching Loose class model from the drop-down.
5. Check the "Take default values from model" option if relevant (all default values defined in the model will be taken to the resulting product)
6. The newly created Loose gemstone product is automatically opened in Edit mode

Bulk Creation of Loose Products - Gemstones Page 

1. Go to Inventory > Gemstones page
2. Select gemstones to create products
3. Under Actions menu, click Create product: 
4. In the "Create product" pop-up
   • Select the model (Only the Loose class models are displayed)
   • Check the "Take default values from model" option if relevant
   • Click "Yes"
     
5. Check results in the created batch

Bulk Creation of Loose Products - Gemstones import

To create multiple Loose Products instantly, when importing Gemstones:

1. On the gemstones import page action scroll down below the Gemstone Fields mappings
2. Check the checkbox "Create loose products"
3. Select the matching Loose class model from the drop-down
4. Click "Import" - Valigara creates related loose products, together with gemstones inventory
