Walmart: Publishing items with GTIN exemption

Walmart requires GTIN/UPC/EAN codes for products to be posted to platform. The codes can be obtained from Walmart.

If your store has a GTIN exemption, you can post products without individual codes. Walmart still requires values supplied in 2 fields: Walmart product identifier & Walmart Identifier Type.

To assign correct values with GTIN exemption:

    1. Go to Catalog

    2. Select all products

    3. System Actions->Copy Data

On Copy Data page:

    1. "Set new" mode

    2. Product Identifier Type: UPC

    3. Walmart identifier: CUSTOM

    4. Check "overwrite" to overwrite previous values

    5. Click "Start" to complete the process. Now you're ready to post products to Walmart!
