Visual variants (gem color, metal, etc.) can appear as swatches OR tiles on the Walmart product page. Non-visual variants (size, ct weight, chain length, etc.) can appear only as tiles. Visual variants can be used only with product-based variations.
To post items with swatch variations complete:
Account settings
- Go to Channels -> Walmart Settings -> Basics tab
- On Swatch variations field select variation themes that can appear as Visual variants on Walmart's product page.
- Don't forget to Save the settings.
Swatch image URLs
- For selected Variation themes in account settings, Valigara will create a field: "Swatch X variation URL" on the Walmart fields set.
- Enter related image URL for every variation product using one of the following ways:
- Using Copy Data action
- Import/Update products from data-sheets
- Manually
- Under Product edit page -> Commercial tab -> Walmart fields set
- Enter related to product Swatch variation image URL for the specific Variation theme:
- URLs must end in an .png or .jpg file types and link to a public file that loads as an image,not as an HTML page. Make sure the images comply with Walmart's Product Content Policy.
- If you do NOT add an image URL, the variants will appear as tiles.
- Each Variant value needs a unique image URL.
Post Items
- While posting/revising items on Walmart:
- Create listings with variations
- Switch variation mode to Swatch
- Valigara automatically takes image URLs from the related fields for every variant
