Exporting Amazon inventory with Category Listing Report

Modified on Tue, 4 Apr, 2023 at 2:12 PM

The standard Amazon Inventory reports do not allow exporting full listing data, such as bullets, keywords, attributes, images and videosetc.

To export all of these, you have to get access to Amazon Category Listing Report (CRL) , which allows exporting inventory with the detailed product data. It can be very useful for integrating existing inventory with Valigara.

To access and download CLRs from Amazon Seller Central:

Gain access

Amazon restricts access to CRLs due to company politics. To gain access,

1. Contact Amazon Seller Support by opening relevant relevant case in the Seller Central.

2. Fill the contact form:

  • Description:

                Hi there!

We're kindly asking you to provide us with access to our Category Listing Report for the feeds department.

                Thanks.

  • Select 'Inventory File Upload Issue'
  • Skip 'Resolve your Issue' article and click 'Contact Us'

Enter your Contact Reason as "Feeds - Access to Category Listings Report"

3. Amazon should make it available for you within 1-2 hours, although be ready to wait for a few days. If it takes longer than a day, we recommend sending follow-up messages. The estimated timeline is for the reports to be available for 7 days. You can always text back and ask again.

Request and download reports

  • Go to your Seller Central homepage
    • Go to Inventory - Inventory Reports
    • Select Report Type - Category Listing Report
    • Select the appropriate category (or categories)
    • Click Request Report

The report will include all the listing and product data, required to migration of the listings into Valigara.
