Basic product creation

Valigara offers multiple ways for the bulk creation of products. With that, during the first steps in the system, it might be most simple and intuitive to create products manually, directly in the products Catalog. 

Before you create a product

• Create the model (or use an existing one)
• Create the gemstone (if needed)
• Make sure the material (gold, silver etc) is in the list

Creating the product 

• Go to the Products Catalog 
• Click "+" and select one of the options, according to the Class of the product you're going to create
  • Jewelry - click "Add product" in the menu to open the New Product page
  • Loose - click "Add Loose Gemstone product" to create the gemstone-based product
  • Set - Creates the product based on a combination of existing products

Mandatory fields

• Catalog code (SKU)
  • enter unique value
  • if not entered, will be generated automatically by Valigara)
• Title
  • enter unique value
  • System title, it won't be necessarily used on the external channels
  • Make it as descriptive as possible, so you can easily identify your product. 
• Model 
  • select from the list of existing Models by typing model name / ID. Or create a new model: 
  • enter values in Mandatory fields: Model code, Type, Collection, and Description.

Product Materials 

Add the basic information about the product materials

• Metal(s)
  • Title, Purity and weight
  • Click "Add" to add more than 1 Metal
• Gemstone(s)
  • Select from the list of existing gemstones by typing the gemstone title / code. Or create a new gemstone:
    • enter values in mandatory fields: Title, Code. Select Type and Unit.
  • Amount of Gemstones in the product
  • Total weight (if not entered, will be calculated automatically by Valigara)

Basic product information

• Sizes - information about the physical dimensions of the product
• Stock - quantities and other inventory-related settings
• Media - graphical information such as: product images, videos, promotional flyers and other
