The store section mappings allow posting items to Etsy easier. During the post to Etsy, it automatically assigns a corresponding Etsy store section to the product, based on an existing product value.
- Select a Local field to map products. The values in that field define, to which Etsy store sections the items will be posted
- When relevant, add the matching value(s) in the specific Etsy store section
To set the mapping of the Etsy store categories:
- go to Etsy Settings page
- enter account settings -> Store Sections Mappings tab
- select a suitable Local field
- map the Etsy store sections and the matching local field values
Example
- select Model -> Type as a Local Field
- for each Etsy store section, select the value in Type:
- In Etsy store section "Bracelet", select Model type "Bracelet". All products with Bracelet in Type will go to the "Bracelets" Etsy store section
- In Etsy store section "Rings", select Model type "Ring". All products with Type "Ring" will go to the "Rings" Etsy store section
- In Etsy store section "Pendants an Necklaces", select Model type "Pendant" and "Necklace". All products with Type "Pendant" or "Necklace" will go to the "Pendants an Necklaces" Etsy store section
