Supported field types

Valigara supports several field types, which relate to the requirements:

Numeric data fields
Text fields
Logical fields
Selection fields

Numeric data fields

• Fractional number
  • Type in a numeric value into the cell
  • Example: "4.25", "4.75" "5.25" "5.5"
  • Use Cases: Shank Width, Chain length
• Whole Number
  • Type in a numeric value into the cell
  • Value is automatically truncated to exclude the digits after the point mark 
  • Example: "4" "5" " 6 "8"
  • Use Cases: Prongs count, Production days
• Price
  • Type in any price value including numbers and dots
  • Example: "199.90", "44900.00", "5999"
  • Use Case: Model price, Reseller price, Shipping price, etc.
• Length
  • Type in any length size values
  • The same as Fractional Number, but with the length unit in the result
  • when using this field for posting, it will be automatically re-calculated according to the selected measurement unit

Text fields

• String 
  • Type in any value including characters, numbers, special symbols, etc.
  • Example: "3-stone" , "1TCW cushion diamond engagement ring" , "All our products use only 100% natural diamonds"
  • Use Cases: eBay title, Amazon Bullet 1, Jewelry Style
• Text area 
  • Allows typing text, including new lines; 
  • Supports HTML code
  • Examples: Amazon description, Shopify description, A/B-testing and any other type of descriptions
    
    
    

Logical fields

• Yes/No
  • Boolean: Yes or No values
  • Values: Yes / No 
  • Use Cases: Sizeable , Gift wrap available
    
    
    

Selection fields

• Select Single
  • Select one of the pre-set values in the list
  • use this field if you know the relevant values for the field, and want to select only one of the existing values
  • Using this field ensures you use standard values and avoid mistakes
  • Example: "Product source: Manufacturing/Import/Consignation"

• Select multiple
  • Select one or many of the pre-set values in the list
  • Use this field if you know the relevant values for the field, and want to select one or many of the existing values
  • Using this field ensures you use standard values and avoid mistakes
  • Example: "Red/Black/Green/Rose" "Box/Heart/Long" 
  • Use Case: Box color, Strap color, Wrap shape

• Select variation
  • Select one or multiple values from the list
  • Use this field if you know the relevant values for the field, and want to select one or more of the existing values. Make a selection by marking the relevant values in the list of options.  
  • Using this field ensures you use standard values and avoid mistakes
  • Creates field-based variations
  • Example: "Size Variations", "Chain Lenght Options" :
