Update eBay token

Modified on Tue, 02 Jun 2020 at 04:27 PM

When eBay account connects to Valigara eBay provides the system with an access token.
Usually, the token is valid for 18 months (this period can be changed on the eBay side).

When the token expires, Valigara is not able to communicate with eBay.

When this happens, you will see following errors when trying to perform operations:

"Auth token is hard expired. User needs to Generate a new token for this application. "

To get the updated token, simply reconnect the account:

  1. Go to Channels > eBay settings
  2. Click settings button next to the eBay account

  3. Click "Start integration process":
  4. Enter eBay email/login and password, click "Sign in"
  5. After the successful login eBay token will be updated in Valigara and all eBay operations will be available.

  • If an eBay token was not renewed for a long period,  some orders might be not imported to Valigara. To get these orders in Valigara use the Import orders feature.
