How to: Models - Set Main Parameters in bulk

Modified on Wed, 19 Feb at 3:30 PM

Managing jewelry inventory efficiently is crucial, especially when dealing with virtual inventory. Creating product variations manually can be time-consuming, but in many cases, multiple models share the same primary jewelry attributes, such as metals, gemstones, and sizes.

For example:

  • Metals: All models in your inventory can be offered in White Gold, Rose Gold, and Yellow Gold in both 14K and 18K.
  • Sizes: All women’s rings can be available in a size range from 5 to 9.

Instead of updating each model individually, Valigara allows you to set matching materials in bulk, streamlining your workflow.

Steps to Set Main Parameters for Multiple Models

  1. Go to Inventory -> Models.
  2. Filter models to find the relevant ones that need updated main parameters.
  3. Select models and go to Actions -> Set main parameters.
  4. In the opened menu, set matching Metals, Gemstones, and Sizes as needed.

Decide whether to overwrite existing parameters:

  • If "Overwrite" is unchecked – Valigara will add values to parameters that are not empty.
  • If "Overwrite" is checked – Valigara will overwrite existing parameters and add values to empty fields.

By following these steps, you can quickly ensure consistency across your inventory, saving time while maintaining accuracy in your product listings.
