Product images are valuable assets. Having informative, user-friendly, and search-engine-friendly image file names makes these assets' value even higher. For these purposes, Valigara sets an automation for each product image file name. Valigara Each handles each image individually, according to its position in the product.

To customize product image titles:
Go to Global settings -> Image settings -> Product images block
- Mark "Customize Image names" checkbox
- Click "+" button
-> Define Title template for "Image 1" by "Select Template" dropdown
-> Define Title template for "Image 2" by "Select Template" dropdown
-> Define Title template for "Image 3" by "Select Template" dropdown
etc.
Image 1,2,3 is the image position in the product.
- "Select Template" dropdown will show the list of your Title templates
It will define the mask for the image title (including the "-") - ".jpg" extension will be added automatically
Please note:
- English chars only, numbers, and "-".
- Maximum file name length - 200 chars
Non-allowed file name chars are removed automatically
If the generated image name is not unique - product ID & incremental value will be added to the end
If templates exist only for Images 1, 2, and 3, and there are 5 images in the product, titles for images 4 and 5 will be generated automatically, according to the pre-set system templates.
